Don represented the United States as a member of the USET in international competition. He was a team gold medalist at the WEG in Burghley in 1974. As a coach, he has trained Olympic level riders around the world. He is USEA certified at ICP Level IV and as ICP Faculty. He has extensive experience with Pony Club as an “A” clinician and National Rally judge. As a USEF certified course designer, Don has designed facilities and event courses around the world. We are looking forward to learning more from Don this June!

Prerequisites for each level:
To ride at a level, horse and rider must have sufficient experience at that level to be comfortable and ready to move up one level. If you don’t qualify by that criteria but still want to ride at a certain level, please contact the organizer (and/or note details on your entry form) so we can form compatible groups.
Group size: 4- 5 Riders
Ride times: 2 hours per day for 2 days
(If you are in a very small group, time may be slightly less. Exact times and groups to be posted at www.tulipsprings.com a few days before the clinic, and riders will be emailed)

Format:
Saturday is stadium jumping on turf. Sunday will be cross country on good footing. (In case you haven’t been to Tulipsprings yet, we almost always have dry, useful footing because we don’t get much rain and the soil absorbs quickly). Cross country obstacles include full courses through Prelim, plus several Intermediate efforts. Everything will be available to school (water, ditches, banks, coffins, corners, and the Atomic Pit!)
